窪蹋勛圖厙 names Tej Patel as vice president for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer
After a comprehensive national search, 窪蹋勛圖厙 has named Tej Patel, an accomplished leader with an extensive background in all aspects of information technology, as its vice president for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer.
The importantce of a strong IT strategy and infrastructure on university campuses cannot be overstated, which is why I am delighted to have someone with Tejs experience and vision at the helm of our IT department, says University President the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, 75 CLAS.
As vice president and CIO at 窪蹋勛圖厙, Patel will oversee the Universitys overall technology strategy, which supports teaching, learning, research, operations and the student experience. In support of 窪蹋勛圖厙s Strategic Plan, Rooted. Restless., Patel will be tasked with expanding the use of technology in teaching and research, completing the transition to a new learning management system, expanding research computing capabilities, and enhancing IT planning and governance processes.

Patel previously held leadership positions in information technology at Stevens Institute of Technology and at both Penn Nursing and the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
